Interesting facts. Now how about AMD initiates some real marketing strategies. I mean i’m in Romania (were i would expect you’d want to sell your mid or low end products) and i’ve nevers seend an AMD comercial on TV,Radio etc. You do have the products but nobody knows about them. Your competition has a strong brand, a nice logo, a jingle or at least something to remember them. I don’t see AMD having all of that.

armistitiu – there are many elements to marketing other than just advertising. While I understand that many people believe TV would drive awareness – it is not the primary tactic we are driving. Doing it well and at the volume you need it to, does not make economic sense for us.

So far, i have only seen AMD all in one imac like (with lcd display) from Benq. But unfortunately this stuf did not capable to play appropriately 1080p content. When is the next AMD platform (congo) out?
