I found this article on The Register website today…
as I stated in an earlier comment- Intel cant afford an AMD win this Q…I’m starting to get the feeling Intel’s going to be late to the dance.

Good news for Microsoft: Intel is looking forward to installing Windows 7 on the computers of its own employees.

Intel was arguably the most visible corporation that decided to skip Vista. And it was by no means lonely in its decision.

From The Register-”Microsoft ultra-thins to ‘out cool’ netbooks, Apple”
    Ballmer(Microsoft)
“When a customer says we want a netbook with bigger screen we will say here’s an ultra thin,” Ballmer said. “We want people to be able to get the advantages of light weight performance and be able to spend more money with us and Intel and Dell and HP and others.”

WOW Intel first; I guess AMD is the others

As a consumer i’ve learned not to buy a fresh, out of the gate product. No matter who makes the technology. It seems meeting Quarter expectations is more favorable than getting it right the first time out of the gate. Let the consumer find the bugs.
But as a shareholder…..keep up the good work ;>)
