AMD driver stoped working and recovered!!!!! where the solutions my friends????. i think use my 4870×2 for fried eggs. because im my patience is over……..
I’m having a problem with the Radeon 9550SE card with the latest driver. I accidently uninstalled the year-old driver which was working flawlessly so I downloaded the latest driver from AMD/ATI. The computer now boots up and after a few minutes the monitor displays a zebra pattern for a split second and then the computer reboots. Safe mode is fine though.
I installed it, rebooted the computer as requested, and it started up without the keyboard and mouse so naturally the installation could not be completed. I’m not sure if reinstalling will fix this but I’ll have another go tonight.
System specs:
OS: Windows XP Home Edition
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.06GHz single core
RAM: 1GB
Video: Hightech Radeon Excalibur 9550SE.
Audio: Realtek AC97
Mouse: Microsoft Sidewinder
Keyboard: Logitech G15
connected to a 4-port USB hub.
Monitor: 19 inch, not sure of the brand and I don’t give a damn about that.
BIOS: Not sure. Don’t pay attention to it.
This BSOD issue is totally random on W7 ultimate 64bit and alike everyone here my hardware reports all fine (8GB RAM, ATI 4850, AMD quadcore Phenom black) and reports my ATI drivers too be at fault. Seriously annoying after so many hours backing up and migrating.
