I have waited now for 2months for a refreshrate fix in XP for 5xxx series. Serously is it that hard to do it? I have been useing win7 now for some time and i hate it but there i change in regedit(DALNonStandardModesBCD) then i can go higher then 85hz. i would really appreciate if you could give me some pointers so i can do it myself…! im always on google trying to find some fix but nothing works for XP. Please notice this comment and try to do something about this is my 3rd try. im disapointed because i have been really patient but nothing happends.
Best regards from iceland, Arnar Hólm
If you not able to provide PROPER driver support for Linux, then OPEN your damn drivers!!
I’m going to buy nVidia, anyway.
FERMI!!!!!!!!!!
I own Radeon 5970 and this driver only made my situation worse. I am experiencing more and more system hangs/freezes at 2D. it’s happening a lot quicker. I’m losing hope. maybe it’s time to RMA this crap.
I have in games like DIRT 2, GRID and NBA2k10 black triangles on the screen, since CATALYST 9.11, 9.12, 10.1 and 10.2 !!!
Please ATI FIX THIS!
ATI have suport for RADEON HD4850 512MB ???
This driver does not fix grey screen crashes for HD 5700 series. Giving up on ATI.
New feature: crashes compiz in Ubuntu 9.10! Just great, another useless and buggy release from AMD.
same problem… compiz don’t work with 10.2
o! try “compiz –replace”! it helped in my case.
but still crashes all the time….
You guys are paid by Nvidia to say that Ati sucks? So many problems here related to driver issues! Ive never, never have problems with Ati, thanxs by your support, Ati have the best hardware!
