New Windows Features
ATI Catalyst – Video enhancements
- H.264 Level 5.1 support
- ATI Catalyst can now playback 5.1 level streams on all support players
- Allows for playback of high resolutions (4Kx2K)
AMD video transcoding updates
- This release of ATI Catalyst provides enhanced support for the Windows 7 Drag and Drop video converter
- Performance improvements
- New formats supported (H.264 file formats – MTS, WTV, and WMV9 Complex profile interlaced content)
- ATI Catalyst Control Center™ option for enabling/disabling GPU acceleration
- Support for the ATI Video converter is now available in the advanced view of the ATI Catalyst Control Center
New Linux Features
Support for new Linux operating systems
- This release of ATI Catalyst driver for Linux introduces support for the following new operating systems:
- Ubuntu 10.04 early look support

Dual Radeon 4890′s Windows 7 64-bit.
Drivers not updating ever since 10.2.
Have uninstalled and tried reinstalling. CCC will not load.
Always ends up stating that warnings were issued but no errors ever specified. Just saiys I have C++ redistributable 2008 SP1 and the Install manager already installed.
Some thing wrog here,my bitdefender picks up a virus in this package,when i installed it and i had to format my pc, lucky for i had a backup
Jay, when are you guys going the fix the underscan problem when using HDMI in the CCC? I only recently found the answer to this problem that almost caused me to get rid of a new ATI 4670 card. The problem still exists though because the setting is not persistent. I have to reset it everytime I restart the machine.
Has anybody been informed that there is a fix for the 5830 issue and driver version 10.4? It would be great if ATI\AMD would start responding to that issue. At least a date when there will be fix would be great.
i have updated 10.5 driver for ati hd4670.. but the problem “amd disply driver stopped responding and has recovered” still appear… it’s REALLY annoying me… b’coz.. it’s distrubed me to watch movie…. pleaseeeeee solve this problem
oohh.. i forget… this problem is appear since i use windows 7 32mbit
