    Hi all,
so after a lot of messing around i have found that battlefield 3 (among many others) will run in AFR friendly mode when you save the settings(exe)and create a profile in 3d application settings… although the driver is very hit and miss and the interface is less than user friendly it is possible to get crossfire working without major issues after all….. but stuttering and pauses can cause problems in BF3 if you adjust the settings too much… i have my setting on BF3 auto and adjust my catalyst settings to my liking without too much performance drop and game looks acceptable for now until the new driver arrives.

AMD are aware of the problem’s here’s the email to confirm that they will be addressing some the issues…

    Dear Mike,

Your service request : SR #{ticketno:xxxxxxxxxxxx has been reviewed and updated.

    Response and Service Request History:

I understand that since upgrading to 12.1 that your crossfire has been disabled and you can no longer your 2 gpus.**edit** (application profiles section seems very temperamental and not very well explained for noobs)**

12.1 has had some issues that AMD is trying to reslove and 12.2 promises to be a more stable version of the software. I suggest you revert back to the driver version that was working correctly until 12.2 arrives and then do and upgrade to satisfy your gaming needs.

In order to update this service request, please respond, leaving the service request reference intact.

    Best regards,

    AMD Global Customer Care

@mick might be able to help you there add me as friend and send me a message -SNF_81U3_- can always delete me afterwards .. my battlefield runs ok at the moment .. there are a few tweaks for BF3 which might help…have you tried deleting your bf3 settings(documents/battlefield/settings) or cut and pasting your game settings to a folder somewhere safe and letting the game re-adjust itself to see how the game runs(Bear in mind if do this all your weapon configurations/customisations get reset but hey … at least you wont lose anything)??..my crossfire runs better this way and i just adjust my visual settings in CCC. just remember the more messing of graphics you do in game the more likely your game will stutter freeze and crash…

    ;-)

Dragon Age 2 STILL!!! crashing with 5870 video cards in Crossfire! This issue is almost a year old now since the 11.4 drivers!!!!!! I see NVIDIA in my near future. They seem to show much more reliable and quicker responses to issues in their games.

It’s impossible to watch some videos on Media Player or Kwik Media if I have some of the four first quality effects activated on CCC. I have a Gigabyte HD 6670, an Asus P8P67 MoBo and Windows 7 64bit. It’s the second motherboard where I try this video card (I had an Intel DP35DP) but those effects like “Noise Filter” don’t work. The videos hungs just after a few seconds or just at the beginning. I suposed it was the PCIe version of my old MoBo, but it keeps the same with the new one. Does anyone can effectively use the qualuity effects for video watching on CCC? Does anyone have a solution?
