Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE)
AMD collaborated with Supermicro to develop a 4P blade prototype featuring the Six-Core AMD Opteron™ processor with AMD chipset platform. The prototype was recommended by the Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe (PRACE) to be the foundation for a high performance computing (HPC) service and infrastructure to support Europe’s science and research communities.
