One of the bigger industries in this area is medical manufacturing with companies like Angio Dynamics, C.R. Bard, Navilyst, TYCO (sp?), and Praxis, but job security has been more than a bit flaky with many of those companies, so to have a big name like AMD coming in and creating 1500+ jobs is most definitely news worthy. My only question is, I haven't seen anything in regards to applying for training or anything of that nature. What does this taxi driver know that I don't?
