Love Your IT Today

by Jason Deal

Have you loved your IT today? We call on our IT teams to drive our businesses and handle countless tasks and requests on a daily basis, but they often don’t get enough credit where it’s due.

So, while you are thinking about your loved ones this Valentine’s Day, don’t forget about your IT team! That’s why AMD has dubbed this Valentine’s Day “Love Your IT Today.” It is their steady heartbeats that make sure that businesses work without any hiccups.

In order for their job to be seamless, IT managers also need highly-efficient and reliable servers. On that note, AMD today introduced five efficient new AMD Opteron™ 6100 Series processors that don’t compromise on performance or features.

With the right servers powered by AMD Opteron 6100 Series processors, your IT team should be the most loved people in your business. And we want to hear about how much you love them.

We’re conducting a giveaway that encourages everyone to share why you ‘Love Your IT’ today for a chance to win an AMD-based Acer Aspire 5551-4937. The entry form is listed below. All you have to do is answer the simple question in 100 words or less: Why do you love your IT department?

You’ll have through February 17 to enter, and we will then pick a winner at random on February 18, 2011, who will be invited to contribute a guest blog, which could appear on AMD@Work, telling their story. There’s no wrong answer here – simply enter why you love your IT and you’re in the running! (Read the full rules here).
